Resource Info
These printable note cards are perfect for children who wish to write down things they can’t wait to tell a loved one they miss.
If you have recently moved away from family or if your child has a parent of caregiver who works away for weeks or months of the year, these notes can help your child release their feelings and prepare for their next catch up.
More about this resource:
When we miss someone, we can often think of a million things we want to say but can’t. For days that seem harder than others, have your child fill in one of our Notes From the Heart.
There are so many ways to use these fun notes:
• You could recycle a glass jar, decorate it and put the notes in ready for their loved one to read on their return.
• Your child can write on them and read them out during video calls or phone calls.
• Relieve symptoms of separation anxiety by helping your child focus on what they want to tell their loved one.
This exercise allows children to feel like they are communicating with the person they are missing and helps them to write down everything that's on their mind. Perhaps there is something extremely pressing that they can't wait to tell them - they can write it down on our Note From The Heart!
