In My Heart is a heart-warming activity helping children through separation anxiety and grief by helping them to realise that the people they love and care about are always in their heart.

Directions: Ask your children to write down or draw the people, pets or things they love in the heart and notice how they feel when the think of all these wonderful things! Don’t they feel happy, fuzzy and safe? Once they’ve done that, cut out the heart puzzle and put it back together again!

This acts as a visual representation that even though things can come apart or break or loved ones can be missing from our lives, all things remain in our hearts safe and sound.
