Week Three, Activity One of the Be Happy Summer Camp: Kind Cards
Did you know being kind is good for your physical and mental health? When you do nice things for others, like helping a friend or sharing your things, it makes you feel happy inside. This happens because your brain gives you special "feel-good" chemicals. These feel-good chemicals not only make you feel happy, but also lower stress and keep your heart healthy!
Being kind also helps you connect with others, make and maintain friendships and feel more confident about yourself. So, every time you're kind, you're not only helping others but making yourself feel great too!
About This Resource
Our Kind Cards activity is designed to help children understand the benefits of kindness and how it positively impacts their well-being. By spreading kindness, children can enhance their mood, reduce stress, and build strong connections with others. This resource encourages children to be kind and see the immediate and long-term benefits of their actions.
How to use
Cut out our kindness cards and hand them out to people throughout the week. You can share them with people you know or those you meet during your day. Our kindness cards will make you and others smile, spreading kindness and happiness wherever you go!
