This calming activity for kids works in two ways - firstly, you can use the Calming Strategy sheet provided to help children calm down fast by cutting out our football and having your child follow the prompts around the pitch.
Then, we also have a blank worksheet for your child to come up with their own calming strategy, thinking of five fun techniques to calm down fast. This gets them thinking about the techniques that work for them when they feel anxious, angry or frustrated. They can then put their own strategy into action when they need to feel calm.
